Patrick Gregg is multi-disciplinary audio-visual artist. His work revolves around the ineffable qualities of the temporal arts-music and film particularly. His most recent work “Columns of Air” explores temporal relationships in the context of micro sonic manipulation of a set of woodwind timbres. Organic melodies played on bassoon, flute, saxophone, and clarinet are put in conversation with their digitally transformed counterparts. The resulting sound masses, streams, and objects are woven together into pieces reminiscent of a woodwind ensemble heard outside time.
Off Land
Off Land is the ambient music output of Boston musician, Tim Dwuer. Influenced by meditative music such as Javanese gamelan, Dwyer's music is sparse yet texturally intricate. In pairing synthesizers and acoustic instrumentation, Off Land lies in an electro-acoustic limbo between ambient nature documentary soundtrack and far flung space music for the void.
