Respected keyboardist and Seattle native, Chris McCarthy has announced the May 12th release of his highly-anticipated, intricate album Sonder” out on Red Piano Records. Sonder is a product of something truly special. The record was premiered on the evening of March 31st, 2016 at McCarthy’s senior recital, where the honed band of Carrie Furniss on voice, JK Kimon drums, Simon Willson on bass and guitarist Max Light debuted McCarthy’s Sonder suite.

Italian saxophonist Venditti, in the US for the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, will present a program of solo saxophones with electronics, inspired by her most recent release “Electrosax”.

The program will include the following works:

Raffaele Riccardi: Jabberwocky, for saxophones and electronics

Ryo Noda: Improvisation I, for solo saxophone

Raffaele Riccardi: Counterpoint for Laura, for saxophones and electronics
