Dave Fox, Drums
Drummer Dave Fox has worked with legendary Jazz Artists such as Stan Strickland, Jerry Bergonzi, Harvey Diamond, David Tronzo and Charles Neville. Dave has also worked extensively with two time Grammy Award winning songwriter, producer and musician Tom Hambridge and his Band “The Rattlesnakes”. With Tom Hambridge and The Rattlesnakes, Dave has shared the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy, Quinn Sullivan, Kenny Neal and Ana Popovic.
In addition to the DAQ, he is a member of The Gravel Project, The Stan Strickland/Josh Rosen Quartet and Andrew Stern’s AS3. When not performing as a sideman, Dave leads his own jazz group featuring Bruno Raberg on bass, Bill Jones on Sax and Phil Grenadier on trumpet.
Dave also is an in demand percussion educator and clinician in the Boston area and is a member of Indian Hill Music School’s Percussion and Jazz Faculty and teaches at MJ’s Music in Waltham. He holds a B.A. from UMass Amherst and has been a long time student of his mentor, Bob Gullotti. He is an endorser of Vic Firth Drumsticks exclusively.
