"Show Up" is Peter Michael Marino's international, critically acclaimed, semi-improvised/semi-scripted show that's based on the crazy real-life experiences of the audience - who also control the set and sound. The show played to sold out houses at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe, as well as a 15-month run in NYC. The Fourth Wall will open the program and serve as the house band for the performance.
Peter Michael Marino
Peter Michael Marino is an award-winning solo show teacher, director, producer and performer. He’s the creator and co-producer of SOLOCOM, which has launched over 400 world-premiere, international solo comedies at The People’s Improv Theater. His long-running solo comedy Desperately Seeking the Exit chronicled the unmaking of his West End musical flop Desperately Seeking Susan; receiving 5-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe and Adelaide Fringe, and a London transfer. His 2015 solo chat show spoof, Late with Lance! played NYC, London, Buffalo, Orlando, Hollywood and the Edinburgh Fringe. Pete’s production company PM2 Entertainment recently presented the NYC debut of Joe's NYC Bar, two encore performances of David Mills: Shame! at Pangea, LA comedy duo Moby Alpha, and the acclaimed solo show hit David Carl's Celebrity One-Man Hamlet in NYC, Edinburgh and Chicago. Peter appeared in STOMP for five years and is an adjunct professor in sketch comedy at Pace University.
