Started in 2014, 2Birds Band is a unique strings-based ensemble that explores the boundaries of strings instruments through different styles of music and broaden their horizons by revealing the rock, funk and contemporary side of these wonderful instruments to the masses. Fusing their classical traditions with modern style, their sound is both cultured and groovy.
With this group of five (or more) talented musicians, the band has been performing and teaching through clinics in Boston, New York, Toronto, and France. Its unique instrumentation including strings bass and drums gives a sound that has never been heard before. The band has been noticed by couple legendary string players such as Jean Luc Ponty, Christian Howes or Darol Anger.
