This culinary composition is a perfect synergy between art, food and music and will wow and inspire your audiences. ChocoJazz is a collaboration between Pastry Chef Ted Steinebach who worked in New York at Eleven Madison Park*** together with vocalist and songstress Vivienne Aerts. Using her voice, loops, iPad apps and a synthesizer she creates a full orchestra by herself, resulting in an ever-changing and newly improvised piece. Don’t expect only chocolate, but also cake, white wine-gel, elderflower cream, poached strawberries, red-fruit rubber, hibiscus crumble and other out of the box flavors and textures. The artwork is only temporarily: it’s made to be eaten, giving the audience an essential role in the performance.
For this Special Boston Event Ted and Vivienne got a high profile jazz ensemble together that will create with them;
Special guest will be Grammy Nominated pianist Kenny Werner who played on over 100 records as well as playing as a sideman for 20 years with Toots Thielemans and as a leader with other jazz giants like Joe Lovano, Chris Potter, John Patitucci.
