Martina Liviero is a composer and guitarist from Buenos Aires, Argentina currently based in Boston. 

She holds a degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music under the Latin American Tour Scholarship, where she was the recipient of the Tadd Dameron award and the Toshiko Akiyoshi award. In Argentina, she studied violin performance in the National Conservatory and harmony and arranging in the EMC (Escuela de Musica Contemporanea, Berklee International Network).    

She is currently leading her 8-piece ensemble conformed by some of the best young jazz musicians around. Her music combines South American music with improvisational and experimental elements. Martina Liviero’s music is a unique impressionistic blend of musical traditions that immerses the listener with intimacy and intensity.

Margaux Vranken Quartet

Margaux Vranken (born in Brussels, Belgium) is a pianist, a composer and a arranger, holding a Master's degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

She has  performed extensively at the Sounds Jazz Club in Brussels for four years, first with her band PINTO, and then with her trio (piano, bass, drums). 

Margaux moved to Boston in September 2017 to do a Master’s degree in Contemporary Performance at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. The Belgian non-profit organization “Fondation SPES” awards her a grant of 10 000 euros to support her studies.  She also receives another 10 000 euros from “Bourse VOCATIO” for her project called “Jazz Workshop for Kids in Brussels”. Vranken is a member of the Belgian association "Les Lundis d’Hortense” that promotes Belgian jazz and music education in Europe and beyond.

Together with Latin percussion and organic instrumentation, Jessica Curran's Jazz Ensemble presents a melange of original compositions, South American classics, and high-spirited, eclectic arrangements from the Great American Songbook. She seamlessly escorts her audience on a trip around the globe, performing in a variety of languages together with a warm and energetic spin on repertoire collected through her travels.
