Murphy & the Mess is comprised of Brendan Murphy (vox, guitars) Chuck Vath (bass, vox), Mike Burke (guitars, vox) as well as other temporary messers’. Based out of the Boston area this group of seasoned musicians has performed across the country on stages large and small. Born as a vehicle for songwriter Brendan Murphy, the mess (as they are referred to colloquially) play roots-based rock n’ roll music in the vicinity of Hiss Golden Messenger, The Band, The Felice Brothers, or Houndmouth.
