Singer and songwriter Sam Slick walks a line between personal folk and energized rock, creating a captivating repertoire. He will be releasing his debut album, Some Vibrant Dream, at this show, backed by the band which accompanied him in the studio. Don’t miss his creative songwriting and the full sound of his band!
Killian Whall
Killian Whall is the psychedelic grunge pop brainchild band of Curtis Killian and Claire Whall, by Grant Bloom (Grant Bloom Band, Jeb Bush Orchestra) on bass / vocals and Jesse Weiss (Palehound, Pet Fox) on drums. Killian Whall's prolific collaborative songwriting efforts, DIY studio experimentation and lively performances are largely rooted within the realm of classic rock and pop, including diverse influences such as David Bowie, Angel Olsen, the Velvet Underground, Frank Zappa, Tom Ze, Prince, tune-yards, the Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, and Nirvana. Killian Whall began writing songs and performing together as a duo in October 2017 and debuted their full live band in February 2019. Their self-recorded debut album is expected to be released late 2019.
