Transfigurations is a dissident multimedia work by Cellista. The show fuses sound collage, classical music, and modern dance accompanied by a full-length experimental film live-scored by Cellista.
A cellist and multimedian, Cellista’s penchant for performing music in unconventional spaces, and her devotion to collaborating with artists across media has led her to create unique performances that incorporate elements of classical music, improvisation, theater, and visual art. These performances often feature a carbon fiber cello and loop station.
