Hotel Neon (Philadelphia, PA), Lowercase Noises (Albuquerque, NM) and Slow Meadow (Houston, TX) perform atmospheric ambient music, paired with visual projections for an immersive audio/visual experience.
Hotel Neon
Hotel Neon is the Philadelphia-based trio of Michael Tasselmyer, Andrew Tasselmyer, and Steven Kemner. Together they create music to get lost in: cavernous, reverberating guitars and synthesizers, matched with visual projections in an immersive audio/visual experience. Since forming in early 2013, the group has released 7 full-length albums and several EPs. Hotel Neon has toured and collaborated with the likes of Benoit Pîoulard, The Sight Below, Simon Scott, and Marcus Fischer, filling everything from living rooms to cathedrals with their densely layered walls of sound.
Slow Meadow
Slow Meadow is the ambient chamber music of Houston-based, multi-instrumentalist Matt Kidd. After working as a touring and session musician since the early 2000s, Matt took a serious interest in creating music focused less on performance and more on inner experience. Slow Meadow began when Kidd befriended Marc Byrd of Hammock, who signed Slow Meadow to his label, Hammock Music, and released his debut in 2015.
Lowercase Noises
Lowercase Noises is the moniker of Andy Othling, an ambient musician from Albuquerque, NM. His compositions feature generative, creatively layered loops of atmospheric guitar. In addition to cultivating a substantial following with live improvised performances on Twitch and YouTube, Lowercase Noises has written twelve albums and EPs since 2009, most of them released independently.
