Bissel Blues Company will be playing a variety of their jammy indie originals + a few covers with the help from a special guest…
Bissel Blues Company. Birthed from North Kingstown’s marshy Bissel Cove in summer 2020, the teenage four-piece has finally noodled their way into a sound they can call home. Taking songwriting influence from 90s indie legends like Luna and Red House Painters and performing influence from jam bands Grateful Dead and King Gizzard, the band strives to put on a show that is both memorable as well as diverse in material. Songs from their original catalog range from sunshine indie ballads to prog-ish noise rockers.
Although the band only started playing out regularly in April 2022, the group agrees that live Bissel is best Bissel. They have had the pleasure of opening up for other bands alongside performing solo shows at The Faucet Thrift and Capron Park in Attleboro. With original material beginning to pile up, studio sessions for the band’s debut record are inbound… They hope you will join them on July 24th for an hour and half of curious music!
The band is:
Matthew Geraghty on guitar
Jack Fitzgerald on guitar
Jon “Glover” Joseph on bass
Jon Snow on drums
All share vocal duties variably
