Plumes is leaving Boston, but before we go, we're throwing one last concert (and afterparty) with two of our favorite bands we've met in the city: Divine Sweater and Hush Club. Come out to the Lilypad in Inman Square and celebrate with us!
Plumes
Plumes is a 4-piece indie rock/folk/pop group from Boston, MA. Through 2 albums and 4 EPs, they’ve established a robust catalogue of songs driven by melodic guitar lines, vocal harmonies, introspective + sincere lyrics, and sneakily complex rhythm sections, which they bring together with gusto in their unfailingly energetic live shows. Plumes consists of John Thorsen (bass, guitar, vox), Ben Long (drums, vox), and Tim Green (guitar, vox), with Clio Fleece completing the live lineup (bass, piano, vox).

Divine Sweater
Divine Sweater is a self-produced band from Boston powered by tight vocal harmonies and a healthy dose of groove. Their members include Meghan Kelleher (vocals), Sean Seaver (guitar, vocals, and production), Chris Southiere (drums and vocals), Alex Goldberg (bass), and Stephen Lin (keys). The band released their debut album "Human Love" in November 2019. Their second album "Divine Sweater Presents: The Ten Year Plan" followed in March 2021.

Hush Club
Chris Haley (guitar, vocals), Liz Kantor (keyboards, vocals), and Alasdair MacKenzie (drums, bass, vocals) formed Hush Club after finding each other in college. Now, they live together in Somerville, MA, making lush, melodic indie rock that examines the nuances of our shared human experience. Under the Radar describes Hush Club as “explor[ing] spaces ranging from intimate to celestial, evoking honest confessions and wide expanses.” Their latest single, “Thought I Saw You,” celebrates the thrill of a sparked connection and gets heads and feet moving in time.
