The EnRoute Trio will perform a mix of original compositions with covers from Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Mark Johnson, just to name a few.
The En Route Trio’s name came up from the drummer Jean-Marie Corrois’s French roots.
After performing in Paris jazz clubs and French jazz festivals for 20 years, he moved to the US to pursue his career, multiplying encounters and experiences with great musicians, first in Florida and for those last 17 years, in Boston and New York.
Influenced very early in his career by musicians like Pat Metheny and other great jazz/fusion musicians, he decided to create an open formula that leaves musicians a lot of space to express themselves on stage, the trio set up is allowing this freedom of exploring infinite possibilities.
With Nick Grondin and Ed Spargo, they create this open dialogue with their universal commun language that is music.
