Sarah Bernadette is a versatile vocalist, improviser, and composer based in Boston. Her music is deeply personal; through her writing and her performances, she hopes to form meaningful connections with her audience and listeners. She is an expressive performer and improviser with a love for jazz voice. She recently released a new EP, sad poems on my phone, which is available on all

streaming services and has received positive reviews online.

Sarah has worked with Kathleen Flynn, Dominique Eade, Cristi Catt, and more recently Grammy-winner Cecile McLorin Salvant, whom she considers one of her biggest musical inspirations.

Lead by soprano vocalist and songwriter Cassie Kollman, Cassie Kollman and Friends is a group of Boston musicians who come from a variety of backgrounds, including jazz, r&b, pop, classical, blues, prog-rock, and soul. This event will feature Gabrielle Siena, Fran McConville Jr., Jason Marino, Sam LaGrego, and Zishi Liu. With a shared language of improvisation, together they create a unique blend of music which offers a diverse collection of moods and themes. The listening experience is both upbeat and contemplative, edgy and optimistic, groove-based and harmonically-intricate. Cassie released her debut album, Lady in Shoes, in 2021; an eclectic and imaginative mix of original compositions and collaborations. An agile vocalist and deep listener, Cassie creates arrangements that are vocally ambitious, introspective, and lyrically nuanced. The result is a soulful, quirky, blues-based experience of indie-pop music. Cassie Kollman and Friends perform original compositions, and arrangements of their favorite tunes.
