MULVA

MULVA is the writing project of Providence-based musician Christina Puerto (Kal Marks, Bethlehem Steel), joined by frequent collaborators Adam Berkowitz, Carl Shane & Patrick Ronayne. While undeniably heavy, the group skirts most pre-determined genre markers to create music that feels intuitive, delivering it urgently as a vehicle to explore themes of dread, rage, loss and hope. MULVA recorded their debut LP with Seth Manchester at Machines with Magnets in Pawtuckett, RI in April 2023 with a release date to be announced soon.

Clifford the Band is a dynamic indie rock group based in Boston, mixing elements of hard-driving folk rock and northeastern post-hardcore. They have become a mainstay of the local DIY scene, developing a signature sound that pivots rapidly between nuanced, atmospheric storytelling and explosive passages of orchestrated chaos. This style of writing responds to the full spectrum of experienced emotion, embracing contradiction and complexity.

youbet is a folk-rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Songwriter Nick Llobet (they/them) writes with relentless bursts of color, commanding attention through lyrical intimacy and stunning instrumental arrangements. Driven by equal parts humor and melancholy, youbet finds delight in disorder, leaning into the completely unexpected with an aim of pure freedom. Their debut record Compare and Despair landed via Ba Da Bing Records in 2019. Their next release will arrive in 2024, fueled by restless energy and a revitalized collaborative spirit.
