Yoko started studying music at the age of 6, continued her music path in classical music until she was enchanted by Jazz and Brazilian music. Yoko has performed and recorded in New York, Boston and Japan with renowned musicians such as David Kikoski, Essiet Okon Essiet, Helio Alves, Benito Gonzalez, Alex Sipiagin, Vincent Herring, Freddie Bryant, Boris Kozlov, Peter Slavov, Misha Tsiganov, Mike Pope, Mike Tucker Edward Perez, Tadataka Unno, Jennifer Vincent, Klaus Mueller, John Lockwood, and others.
