Now in its third year, The Pandora Consort's annual event, the Worlds Collide Showcase is a concert, competition, and fundraising event focused on cross-genre collaboration. This concert is the culmination of duets and trios of up and coming professional musicians from different musical worlds who teamed up to create a new song. Each team fundraises for a local charity of their choice and has the opportunity to promote their own work as well as the work of their chosen charitable organization. At the end of the concert, the audience votes for the winning ensemble which receives a cash prize as well as a prize for their chosen charity. Since its inception, the Worlds Collide Showcase has raised funds for organizations such as the Just A Start Corporation, Planned Parenthood Southeast, Trans Emergency Fund, Pine Street Inn, the National Network of Abortion Funds, and the North End Music and Performing Arts Center.

This performance will represent multiple genres. Past Worlds Collide Showcase performances have featured collaborations such as Renaissance/ jazz, Baroque/ EDM, Medieval/ punk.
