Max Ridley is one of the most in-demand bassists in the Boston area. He was awarded full-tuition scholarships to study at Berklee College of Music for both undergraduate and graduate degrees, earning his graduate degree from the extremely exclusive Berklee Global Jazz Institute under the direction of master pianist, educator and humanitarian Danilo Perez. An equally important part of his education was down the street from Berklee at Boston’s historic Wally’s Jazz Cafe. He began going to jam sessions there in high school and eventually became the house bass player every Friday and Saturday night.

Ridley has played and recorded with renowned musicians of many different styles all over the world.  An incredibly versatile multi-instrumentalist, Max performs regularly in bands playing Jazz, Rock, Folk, Soul, Punk, Klezmer, Polka and every other style you can think of.  He also serves as the music director for tap dance company Subject:Matter (https://www.subjectmattertap.com/) and teaches music as a guest lecturer at different colleges around New England (such as Longy School of Music, University of New Hampshire and Berklee College of Music).

Boston based Israeli drummer Dor Herskovits is already a staple of the Boston jazz scene and has won international acclaim as an improviser. His melodic approach to playing the drums, combined with vast knowledge of rhythm and a composer's vision make him a unique voice as a drummer. Dor's original music reflects the eclectic nature of music nowadays,  drawing from jazz and blues roots, folk and world music, free jazz rock and metal.

As a sought after sideman, he plays in various jazz and experimental groups on the Boston-New York line. He has also toured around the US, Canada, Europe and China. Herskovits has recorded many albums as a sideman, featured on labels such as Newvelle and Endectomorph music, alongside musicians such Grammy award-winning guitarist Bill Frisell, Michael Blake and Jason Palmer. He has also performed with George Garzone, Noah Preminger, Jon Cowherd, Steve Cardenas,Bert Seager’s Tet-rap-tych, Max Ridley’s Basement Philharmonic, Daniel Rotem and Xiongguan Zhang. As co-leader of Earprint, he received critical acclaim from publications such as Downbeat magazine, NPR’s critics' poll and many more.
