A Swiss vibraphone player, Natalie Dietrich, returns to Boston to reunite with familiar musicians.

Berklee College of Music alumna and translator Natalie Dietrich is currently doing performance/studio/arranging/teaching gigs in Switzerland and in the USA. Grammy Award winning Composer/Arranger Richard Evans compared her to a “Cannonball Adderley of vibes players” for her soulful, yet powerful, straight-forward approach to jazz. Dietrich counts Chick Corea, Ralph Towner, Herbie Hancock, and Igor Stravinsky as her most formidable influences.

For Berklee PULSE, an innovative online music education portal based on Berklee College of Music’s curriculum, Natalie developed instructional media and sheet music as Notation Manager. Dietrich is well known in Boston and in Europe having worked with Ed Saindon, Dave Samuels, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Abe Laboriel, Vinnie Colaiuta, Phil Wilson’s Rainbow Band, Jazz Composers’ Alliance Orchestra, Hiro Honshuku, Engin Gunaydin, Rodrigo Bonelli, Bruno Spörri, Claude Diallo, basel sinfonietta, Pit Gutmann, Jacqueline Ott, Ingrid Oberkanins, Christian Muthspiel a.m.m.
