Come celebrate the Adhyâropa Records release of David's debut album The Ground that Holds You as You Fall Forever featuring performances of David's original music from the record. David will be joined by pillars of the Boston jazz scene Lihi Haruvi, Dor Herskovits, & John Lockwood.
A fiercely creative spirit steeped in the jazz and creative music tradition, David Leach is a pianist, composer, and poet from Boston. Their music draws on eclectic influences ranging from Messiaen and John Coltrane to Joni Mitchell and System of a Down. The David Leach Collective—featuring Lihi Haruvi (sax), Dor Herskovits (drums), and John Lockwood (bass)—paints David’s adventurous compositions in vivid color with equal parts sensitivity and daring, inviting the listener into a soundscape at turns intimate and exhilarating but always deeply felt and open to the present moment.
