Sarah Khatami

Sarah Khatami is a singer/songwriter based in Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA. Her style
can be described as R&B/pop, with a unique improvisational flair, influenced by the
traditional Persian music she grew up listening to. As the child of two Muslim-Iranian
immigrants, Sarah has always had a great appreciation for her freedom to practice and
perform music. Sarah released her debut single Darkness in August 2017, then later
collaborated with Persian producer, KayHee, on their song “Zire Abra,” making this her
first Farsi song release on all major distributing platforms, including Radio Javan. Most
recently, Sarah released her debut self-titled EP in January 2018, and a music video for
her single, “This Time,” in February 2018. Sarah is studying songwriting at Berklee
College of Music, under an annual full-tuition scholarship.
