Mother-and-son duo Ruth Rappaport and Ben Wetherbee have been playing electrifying, energizing, hard-driving old time music for as long as they can remember. Ruth Rappaport played guitar and sang in the seminal 80's/90's all-women string band The Poodles before forming The Ruth & Ben String Band. Ben Wetherbee has been playing fiddle for twenty years, having grown up in the old time music community around Boston. They are joined by virtuosos Victor Furtado and Stuart Kenney on banjo and bass. Friend of the band and energizer-extraordinaire Grace Clements will be calling!
