The New Jazz Orchestra (NJO) is a Boston-based jazz orchestra founded out of the Berklee College of Music by composers David Wright and Tai Schiavo. Performing around Boston’s music scene, the NJO consists of a roster of current music students and alumni of Boston’s music colleges and has been a force in both promoting and premiering new works for large jazz ensemble.
SSD Bio: Featuring students and alumni from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, the Spencer Stevens Dectet (SSD) is a compact big band focused on fun, energetic arrangements of classic jazz standards.
