Steve Thomas and John Funkhouser have been musical pals for nearly 15 years, currently as bandmates in Steve Thomas & REAL INCOGNITO. As Two Amigos, they “unplug” and take a fresh look at the jazz vocal/piano duo paradigm. They’ll do some jazz tunes, a few standards, and some of Steve’s songs, drawing on their musical mind meld to stretch the old paradigm into some new shapes.
