Yoga @ the Lilypad
Experience the joy and relaxation of an Integral Yoga class at the Lilypad. Explore the guided practice of Hatha Yoga and experience a series of classical Yoga Asanas, chanting, Netra Vyayamam (eye movements), Pranayama (breath control), Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation.
Come as you are, whether you're a beginner or seasoned yogi. Students are always encouraged to listen to their bodies and take this practice at their own pace.
What to Expect
The Integral Yoga Hatha method was designed to draw the practitioner into a physical and mental stillness that leads to an experience of one’s true nature— peace and joy.
In this practice, we are careful to counter every asana with an equal and opposite pose to cultivate equanimity and stretch the spine in all directions. The strength and flexibility of the spine directly impacts the health of the entire body. You can expect to feel peaceful and rejuvenated after class, leaving with more energy than you arrived with.

Integral Yoga &
Swami Satchidananda
Integral Yoga was founded in 1966 by Sri Swami Satchidananda. He developed the Integral Yoga Hatha class as a complete and balancing practice incorporating the ancient teachings of Yoga. Known as “The Woodstock Guru", Swami Satchidananda went on to open the Woodstock music festival in 1969 with the Peace chants “Hari OM'“ and “OM Shanti” which we continue to chant today!
Swami Satchidananda is the founder of Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville, where both Jesse “Sadhu” and Vienna “Parashakti” were trained and certified to teach Integral Yoga in 2016 and 2022, respectively. Since 1966, Swami Satchidananda wrote many books and taught thousands of people worldwide, guiding them to embrace the universal teachings of Peace and Self-Mastery.
