John Eckert is one of the busiest trumpeters in Manhattan, playing with The Monday Night Village Vanguard orchestra, among other top NYC jazz groups. His second Cambridge appearance will be at The Lilypad in Cambridge, MA 8:30 Sunday evening September 24.

Joe Hunt will be on drums along with saxophonist Andy Voelker and bassist Keala Kaumeheiwa. John Eckert and Joe are old friends from the '60's when they played together with fellow New Yorkers, Lew Tabakin, Don Friedman, Bobby Porcelli, Mike Abene, Eddie Gomez and many others. This will be a special one time only jazz performance, not to be missed by serious jazz fans and musicians. Join us for good jazz.
