Eva Novoa: Novoa/Carter/Mela Trio

  • The Lilypad 1353 Cambridge Street Cambridge, MA, 02139 (map)

$20 Cover @ the Door ($15 Students) / Start 7:30pm / Doors 7pm / Seated Show

Eva Novoa leads this incredible trio which went into the studio last year at Sear Sound in New York City. Out of that recording session several records/ albums are to be released on the independent Brooklyn based label 577 Records. A piano trio with no bass makes each improvisation explorative and bold. No predictability. Fun and free are the key words when these three excellent music masters get together and play. The show at The Lilypad will reunite this trio after a one year hiatus.
