I'm teaming up with two great pianists/composers/educators Gill Aharon and Pablo Ablanedo to present a series of shows based on composers we want to spotlight. This is the first in the series and I will be playing the music of Charles Mingus, one of my favorite composers and musicians.
I'll give a little bit of backstory about Mingus and then we'll play a couple of tunes. I'm delighted to be joined by some truly stellar musicians:
