A checkered career:
Norm has had a checkered career, as “Best Bar Band in Cambridge” (Boston Phoenix) and
“Hottest Cabaret Act in New York” (New York Times) with his act, “Stormin Norman & Suzy,”
Assistant to the Mayor of New York, to inner city teacher and school. principal; also, bottle collector at Martignetti’s Liquor in Allston, kettle washer at now defunct B&M baked bean factory in Portland,ME; cub reporter in Lowell and New Haven. Conducted musical workshops for hundreds of multiply disabled folks all across New York City. Performed Carnegie Hall and most every NYC venue of any substance. Played Klezmer music for 8 years with Klezmer Virtuoso Andy Statman; (“half the hassidic weddings in Brooklyn!”) also al fresco on the Streets of Paris, jazz piano in Paris brasseries where he drank too much vin blanc.

Norm has written hundreds of songs and released 8 albums of original music. He loves returning regularly to Lily Pad where he can perform in an intimate musical setting.
