Kirill Poudavoff is a tenor saxophonist based in Boston, studying at Berklee College of Music. Thanks to his Father, Kirill started his musical journey around 2005, with tenor in 2010 at the age of 10 at a local school of music. One of the many early recordings of Kirill with his Dad, "fly me to the moon" gained over 2 '500' 000 views on YouTube, and to this day, is still one of the most popular saxophone videos.

Kirill is strongly influenced by the music of Dexter Gordon and Aubra Graves, who left a strong imprint on Kirill’s sound and musicality. Among Kirill’s style traits, listeners usually appreciate his powerful and colorful sound, clearly-connected phrasing and a great sense of composition. Countless performances at Boston's iconic Wally's Jazz Cafe, Cambridge’s The Mad Monkfish, many of which were recorded live, are some of the favorites hits of Kirill's fans.

In 2023, with the help of the great NYC saxophonist Antoine Roney, Kirill was introduced to Maxine Gordon, the jazz history scholar and wife to Dexter Gordon. Kirill got to perform live at Wally's for Maxine, with his band consisting of top Berklee players, honoring Dexter's 100th birthday and playing his signature tunes. The concert was recorded live and is, arguably, the best recording Kirill has done so far.
