Meghan Downing was born a musician. Starting at age 4, she performed regularly in local recitals and busked at the local farmer's market. Over the years, her musical repertoire grew to include piano, ukulele and guitar which has become her main passion. Along this journey Meghan found her love for singing as a member of an award winning choir and the lead singer of a folk rock band. You can find Meghan performing at many local events such farmers' markets, festivals, private functions, and weddings. Meghan's songbook is expansive, covering country to singer/songwriter to pop, adding her own special acoustic vibe to each song.

Some people run from their skeletons. Makena Tate throws hers a party. She doesn’t flinch at the chaos, the heartbreak, or those times when you catch your reflection and wonder if you recognize the person staring back. There’s no sugarcoating—just raw, glowing pop that somehow feels both bitter and sweet. Makena isn’t afraid of those uncomfortable "look-yourself-in-the-eye" moments. She twists them into something you want to scream along to. Starting in the quiet corners of indie folk, she’s since shed that skin, stepping into the realm of moody, cinematic pop that feels like the soundtrack to every late-night drive you’ve ever taken. It’s an emotional crash course on being human, and Makena is at the wheel, unapologetically pressing the gas. So go ahead, bury your feelings. Just know that Makena Tate will dig them back up—she’s here to help you embrace them, skeletons and all.
