Kimmie Phan Stattman
Kimmie Phan Stattman is a sound artist and acousmatic composer who works extensively with the sounds of food. She has attended the Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice in Boston, Massachusetts in 2017, as well as highSCORE Festival in Pavia, Italy in 2016 and California Summer Music in Sonoma, California in 2014. In 2015, Phan Stattman received the Presidential Distinction Award to attend New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts, where she currently studies composition under John Mallia. She will be graduating this May and moving to Taipei.
Ari Brown
Ari Brown is graduating from the dual program between Tufts University and New England Conservatory of Music, where he studies computer science and music composition. Ari produces electronic music and has finished two solo albums. He is also in a duo called Good Point, which is about to release an EP on Prrrrrrr Records based in Germany. Following his combined passions, Ari co-founded Cherrystems Music, which aims to make music production as easy as choosing sounds and a style. Ari also recently contributed software to the Mars 2020 rover mission at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
